Universal lens with a wide focal length range
Every photographer knows the situations in which the camera is exposed to very special environmental stresses. Be it in wind and weather, on a safari or simply in the cold, where every move is difficult. Here you want a lens that covers as large a Zoomrange as possible and still shows optimal optical performance.
The Pentax DA WR 18-135 mm / 3.5~5.6 ED AL (IF) DC WR is the fulfillment of these wishes. With a focal length of the equivalent of 28-200 mm, it can be used universally. Thanks to the optical design, it offers high level optical performance. The good usage characteristics even under harsh environmental conditions round out the overall package, which makes this lens particularly attractive as a standard zoom for many photographers.
Within the DA series, this WR lens is intended for entry-level use, but is much more than that due to its 6 seals. Technical quality and construction also meet upscale demands. Not least the metal bayonet is a good indicator for that.
Features:
- Universal wide-angle telephoto zoom from approx. 28 - 200 mm (equivalent to 35 mm).
- Fast and quiet focusing due to the "Direct Current Motor".
- Quick Shift Focus System allows fast manual focusing in AF mode.
