The lens is made of metal and high-quality plastic, and has a smoothly damped focus ring that allows you to set the focus manually. The optics consist of 14 elements in 12 groups with three high refractive elements, 2 ED lenses and an aspherical glass element. The ultra-multi-coating (UMC) prevents ghosting and reflections.
