This Samyang lens is specially designed for mirrorless cameras with APS-C or smaller sensor. The lens has a focal length of 21 mm and is particularly fast thanks to the maximum aperture of F1.4. The terrific optics are achieved by eight glass elements in seven groups, with one ED lens and three aspherical lenses.
This guarantees high resolution and sharpness over the entire image area. Light incidence is optimized thanks to UMC coating and flicker is effectively minimized. Thanks to a minimum focusing distance of 0.28 m, the lens is also suitable for imaging objects that are particularly close in front of the lens.
