The control algorithm, which optimizes the AF drive and communication speed, has been specially developed for the Canon RF Mount. In addition to high-speed AF based on a stepper motor, this lens also supports continuous autofocus (Servo AF). This exceptionally fast and quiet operation of the autofocus is equally advantageous for still and video shots.

The lens offers outstanding resolution even at fully open aperture and delivers absolutely sharp and clear images. The lens is also compatible with the camera's internal aberration correction*. Targeted measures against flares and ghosting enable professional shots even in backlit situations. The specially designed lens hood contributes to this and is included in the scope of delivery. The bayonet of the Sigma 23mm 1.4 DC DN is fitted with a rubber lip to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture. This underlines Sigma's high standards in terms of processing quality.

The conversion of existing Sigma F1.4 DC DN lenses with other mounts to the RF mount is possible thanks to the Sigma mount exchange service.
