Sigma 24mm f3.5 DG © L-Mount black
The Sigma a 24mm wide-angle fixed focal length lens offers excellent portability and versatility. It offers a very compact design, similar to that of the 45mm F2.8 DG Contemporary. Despite its small size, there is no compromise on performance - it is capable of capturing the finest details required when shooting with high-resolution full-frame cameras.
With a very short minimum focus distance of around 10cm and a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2, it allows photographers to shoot more freely without having to worry about the distance between the lens and the subject.
The robust and elegant finish of the I-series lens body makes for an even more satisfying shooting experience. The 24mm F3.5 DG Contemporary is a versatile prime lens that will become an extension of your creative vision.
Beautiful detail and bokeh for every scene
The high resolving power of the 24mm F3.5 DG Contemporary covers the entire image from the center to the edges, meaning photographers can rely on edge-to-edge sharpness at all apertures for wide-angle shots. With a minimum focus distance of around 10 cm and a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2, it allows photographers to explore a subject more freely, from shooting distant landscapes to close-ups of smaller objects.
In addition to the attractive bokeh, it also offers photographers almost circular out-of-focus highlights, even at the edges of the image. This allows you to create a close-up of a sharp subject with a blurred background, a technique that is very useful in a variety of environments.
The lens features the latest optical design optimized for mirrorless systems. This includes high-precision, glass-molded aspherical elements made with advanced processing technology, as well as SLD glass and high refractive index glass elements. Together, they make it possible to combine high optical performance with compactness. In addition, the smooth focus drive system, designed around a quiet and fast stepping motor, makes the 24mm F3.5 DG Contemporary a desirable choice for video shooting.
Using multiple high-precision aspherical glass molding lenses
The surface of molds for glass molding, a process in which optical components are formed by pressing glass materials at high temperatures, requires extremely high precision. Sigma uses high-precision tools whose surfaces are controlled to an accuracy of ±5 nanometers (0.000005 mm) or less. High-precision aspherical glass mold lenses ensure both good aberration correction and a compact lens size.
Magnetic metal lens cap
In addition to a normal plastic cap, the I-series lenses are accompanied by a special magnetic metal lens cap. This special metal cap is magnetically attached to the front of the lens. It is no exaggeration to say that this carefully crafted cap is the finishing touch for the I-series.
Stepping motor
The lens enables smooth, quiet and fast autofocus, made possible by a stepping motor, and supports face/eye detection AF as well as video AF.
Mount with dust and splash-proof structure
The lens mount is equipped with a rubber seal that protects the mount from dust and water droplets
. Super Multi-Layer Coating
Sigma's proprietary Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting by preventing reflections in the lens. All lenses in the current Sigma range are equipped with this original technology. With digital cameras, stray light and ghost images can also be caused by reflections between the image sensor and the lens surfaces. Here too, the Super Multi-Layer Coating of Sigma is highly effective and ensures images with excellent contrast.
Aperture ring
The aperture ring allows the user to work intuitively
Focus mode switch
This switch allows the focus mode to be switched between AF and MF.
High-precision, robust brass bayonet
mount The brass mount combines high precision with robust construction. The treated surfaces and increased strength contribute to the exceptional durability of the lens.
