This wide-angle lens from Sigma opens up a whole new world of photography possibilities. The 16mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary with Micro Four Thirds mount corresponds to an angle of view of a 32mm focal length lens in KB format (35mm) and comes with an extremely high speed of F1.4. The DN lens is compact and lightweight and suitable for everyday use.
The same development concept as the 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary was used and thanks to 16 lenses in 13 groups as well as high-quality materials, first-class optics are delivered. Optical aberrations are effectively minimized and excellent resolution is guaranteed over the entire aperture range.
The mount is splash and dust resistant thanks to a gasket, and the stepper motor allows for smooth autofocus even when shooting video. A lens hood is included to block distracting light and minimize reflections within the aperture.
