This wide-angle lens from Sigma opens up completely new photographic possibilities. The 16mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary with Micro Four Thirds mount corresponds to an angle of view of a lens with 32mm focal length in KB format (35mm) and comes with an extremely high speed of F1.4. The DN lens is compact and lightweight and is suitable for everyday use.

The same development concept as the 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary was used and thanks to 16 lenses in 13 groups and high-quality materials, first-class optics are delivered. Optical aberrations are effectively minimized and excellent resolution is guaranteed over the entire aperture range.

The mount is splash and dust proof thanks to a seal and the stepper motor enables smooth autofocus even when recording video. A lens hood is supplied, which blocks out interfering light and minimizes reflections within the aperture.
