Ultra-compact & lightweight
and weighs only 390-470 g. For difficult perspectives or shots in confined spaces. The Simera-C lenses make it easy to capture difficult angles or shots from the smallest corner, such as shots from low heights, over-the-shoulder perspectives and tight vehicle spaces. This setup not only enhances the cinematic impression, but also significantly increases agility, handling and creative freedom when filming
. Constant large aperture of T/1.5
and 16 blades for a round and pleasant bokeh. In order to achieve a circular bokeh effect, the lenses have been enlarged to 16 aperture blades instead of the 14 used in the Simera Photo version. The fall-off and bokeh transition can create a separation and a three-dimensional impression.
Cine standard, high compatibility
The Leica M-Mount offers versatility comparable to the PL-Mount: with standard M-Mount adapters, Simera-C lenses can be adapted to various mirrorless cameras (E-, RF-, Z-, L-, X-Mount) and used across systems. With a lockable M-ARRI adapter, they are also compatible with ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA Mini, AMIRA and other ARRI systems. This exceptional compatibility is what makes the Simera-C with M-Mount so flexible, whether it's entry-level mirrorless cameras or high-end cinema rigs like DJI Ronin 4D, Sony Venice, ARRI and more.
A neutral and clear look
with minimal chromatic aberration and high resolution. The Simera-C lenses consist of aspherical elements, ED elements and high refractive index elements and have the same optical formula as the existing Simera photo lenses. As a result, they offer extremely high resolution and excellent control over chromatic aberration, making them ideal for high-resolution 8K video production. In addition, these lenses have a multi-coating with a high refractive index to minimize flares and ghosting. Even in strong backlighting, the Simera-C lenses deliver high contrast and an all-round clean image.
Focus scales
are given in both imperial and metric scales. All lenses have the same positions for the focus and aperture ring.
