Now for Fujifim X-Mount

The Tokina ATX-M 11-18mm F2.8 was already available for Sony E-mount, but is now also available for Fujifilm X-mount. The lens is fully compatible with Fujifilm cameras and camera functions, including image stabilization, AF+MF, MF assist mode, eye detection and optical corrections. The lens has a built-in micro USB port (type B) for future firmware updates.

Compact and lightweight optical design

The Tokina ATX-M 11-18mm F2.8 is a lightweight (320 g) and compact (total length 74.4 mm) lens for Fujifilm X-mount system cameras. Although it is a super wide-angle lens, it is so small that it does not feel bulky, even when shooting with one hand. The Tokina atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 features a complex optical design with a balanced arrangement of two a-spherical and two super low dispersion (SD) glass elements for chromatic aberration suppression, rich color rendition and low distortion. The optical elements, including the front element, are fully multi-coated to reduce ghosting and flare to an unprecedented level. Despite being a super wide-angle lens, the Tokina atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 has impressively low distortion - a great advantage when shooting indoors and/or architecture.

Fast aperture f/2.8

The Tokina ATX-M 11-18mm F2.8 features a fast f/2.8 aperture across the entire Zoom range for a shallower depth of field and 9 blades that provide a rounded aperture for smooth bokeh in background highlights. The short minimum focusing distance (MFD) is only 19 cm and offers advantages when creating unique wide-angle macro shots with perspective effects. At open aperture, the image appears more dynamic and 3D-like with bokeh in the foreground and background.

Fast communication

The Tokina ATX-M 11-18mm F2.8 offers full compatibility with the advanced features of Fujifilm X-mount cameras, including fast hybrid AF, image stabilization, direct manual focus, MF assist mode, eye AF and various optical corrections such as shadows, chromatic corrections, aberration and distortion. The Tokina atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 features a low-noise ST-M motor in combination with the lens position sensor for fast and precise autofocus in photo and video mode.
