The extremely precise balance of the 12 glass elements in 9 groups, including 3 ED glasses and an aspherical element, ensure optimum contrast rendition, sharpness and color fidelity right to the edge of the image. It is therefore ideal for street and people photography.

The full-frame lens with Leica M mount comes in a sturdy metal housing and a durable mechanism - ideal, therefore, when the going gets rough in the crowds. The striking retro look fits very well with the Leica's design, which is emphasized by an angular lens hood. The aperture and focus settings are manual.
