Voigtländer APO-Skopar 90mm f2.8 VM black
The Voigtländer 90mm F2.8 APO-Skopar VM is a medium telephoto lens with manual focus.
The Voigtländer 90mm F2.8 APO-Skopar VM is a medium telephoto lens with manual focus. It has been completely redesigned to use glass with abnormal partial dispersion in five of the seven elements, thus achieving exceptionally high sharpness performance and giving images a rich, three-dimensional appearance. In addition to high image quality, the apochromatic design ensures that axial chromatic aberration is as close to zero as possible.
However, compactness was also a primary consideration during development, and as a result, the Voigtländer 90mm F2.8 APO-Skopar VM presents itself at just 60mm in length, weighing only 250g. Due to its small size, it does not protrude into the viewfinder frame when used on a rangefinder camera.
The aperture with its 10 blades takes a special shape. It forms a circle not only at fully open aperture F2.8, but also at F4 and F22. Thus, circular light reflections can be created when pointing the lens directly at a point light source.
The shortest shooting distance associated with the rangefinder is 0.9 m (depending on the camera used), which is a very good value for a 90mm lens. A lens hood, which can be attached to the lens upside down when not in use, is included.
The Voigtländer 90mm F2.8 APO-Skopar VM is available in silver and black and can also be attached to Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount and Nikon Z-mount digital cameras.
