This lens can be attached to the corresponding cameras without an adapter. It covers the extreme wide-angle range and will therefore especially inspire landscape and architecture photographers.
Such extreme focal lengths always pose a special challenge to the photographer. This makes fast and smooth communication between optics, camera and photographer all the more important.
When focusing, the camera automatically switches to magnification mode if desired, which enables the greatest accuracy. All lens-relevant data, such as focal length, aperture and distance setting, are transmitted to the camera. This data is immediately displayed in the viewfinder/monitor and used, for example, for exposure metering and image stabilization.
Selective aperture control is used for the first time in Voigtländer's full-frame lenses. For filmmakers, this is an indispensable feature that enables smooth and silent aperture control.
