Voigtländer Ultron 2.0/28 mm Type I VM aspherical, black, Leica M

We have redesigned our previous Ultron 28 mm F2.0, making it more compact and also lighter. In addition, as with the recently introduced Ultron 35 mm F2.0, we now offer two design variants, Type I and Type II. The former version shines in chrome and matte black and features a filigree focus lever, which will appeal especially to fans of a very classic look. Type II is monochromatic (silver or black) and features a pronounced recessed grip for quick and intuitive focusing. The inner workings are identical in each case. This consists of 10 lens elements in 7 groups, one of which has an aspherical surface. The sharpness performance could be improved compared to the predecessor, furthermore an adaptation to the demands of modern image sensors was made.

Our new Ultron 28 mm F2.0 wide-angle lens offers a wide range of applications and delivers strong character image results, even in difficult lighting situations. The 10 aperture blades ensure an extremely appealing and smoothly flowing bokeh. At the same time, with a weight of 190 g (Type I) and 230 g (Type II), it always remains a pleasant companion in the search for that special moment. It is optimized for Leica M cameras, but can also be used on Fuji X cameras, Sony E- and Nikon Z models. Our corresponding Nah+ system adapters are ideal for this purpose.

Two optional lens hoods are available, LH-4N in a circular shape and LH-12 in a rectangular shape, which allows a slightly higher stray light shielding due to the construction depth.
