Zeiss Batis 2/40 CF (Close Focus)

With a 40mm fixed focal length, the ZEISS Batis 2/40 CF (Close Focus) is the newest lens in the Batis product family. The standard lens features a fast autofocus as well as a very short close focus distance.

The ZEISS Batis lenses were specially developed for Sony mirrorless full-frame cameras (Alpha 7 series, Alpha 9 series) and are compatible with all E-mount cameras. In combination with these cameras, the ZEISS Batis 2/40 CF enables a handy, lightweight but powerful system with outstanding image quality, a close-up distance of 24 centimeters and thus a reproduction scale of 1:3.3.

Thanks to its unique focal length of 40mm, the ZEISS Batis 2/40 CF is capable of mastering a wide variety of photographic situations. From portraits and street photography to landscape and architecture, anything is possible with this high-resolution fixed focal length.

Features such as Floating Lens Design for uniformly high imaging performance across the entire focus range, the ZEISS T* coating for reduced reflections, and dust and splash protection ensure the highest image quality in almost any situation. For creative work, the distance and depth of field can be read on the innovative OLED display of the ZEISS Batis. This means that the focus area can always be set perfectly.
