Octaboxes with Bowens S-Type Bayonet

The click light shaper series from Rollei is the ideal accent light for fashion, portrait and fashion photography. Whereas the setup is absolutely easy as the octaboxes, available in 100cm and 150cm sizes, have a click mechanism. Tension the rods until they click into place, mount them - and you're done! The Octaboxes also come with a grid that directs the light even more precisely onto the subject.

Harder, high-contrast light with stronger shadows comes from the silver inside of the light shapers without diffuser. Soft, diffused light is available with the translucent diffusers, which are easy to mount on the Octaboxes. The inner diffuser reduces the creation of a brighter light area in the center of the image (hotspot). The outer diffuser creates an enlarged illuminated area and fans out the light further, softening it.

With their Bowens S-type bayonet, the Octaboxes fit many studio flashes and LED continuous lights. For perfect alignment of the light shapers, the speed ring can be rotated 360 degrees.

When closed, the octagonal softboxes are slim and take up very little space. They are therefore suitable for mobile use and can be taken to all shootings with the included carrying bag.
