At KAHLES, the "S" already stood for "Super" in the 60's and was the eponym for the then top product series called "Helia-Super". The new Helia S 42 now once again combines the best values and is the counterpart to the successful Helia riflescope series. The new high-performance Helia S optical system, with its specially developed lens coatings, produces high-contrast, sharp-edged images that have been optimally tuned for hunting. This is significantly reflected in the large field of view of up to 136m / 1000m and in the optical performance of both models, which have been designed for a wide range of light conditions and daily use.

Compact design, low weight and the associated optimized handling, allow fatigue-free observation and light luggage. In order to provide the best possible wearing comfort, a new comfort strap with useful details - coming from the photo camera sector - has been developed and additionally equipped with a high-quality quick release.
