Outstanding Zoom performance and weatherproof construction.
With its 16.6x magnification, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-200 mm 1:3.5-6.3 delivers the strongest Zoom performance of any mirrorless system camera lens to date1. With a focal length of 12-200 mm (24-400 mm equivalent to 35 mm camera) and the usual compact as well as lightweight Olympus design, this lens is suitable for many shooting situations. The reliable dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof construction, known from the M.Zuiko PRO series, ensures maximum flexibility as the Zoom can be used in almost any weather.
Excellent optical performance, high speed and precise AF performance
To prevent chromatic aberration and distortion throughout the Zoom range and maintain the compact lens design, special attention was paid during development to the arrangement of special optics such as Super ED and aspherical lens elements. The ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating reduces ghosting and backlight reflections. In addition, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-200 1:3.5-6.3 is equipped with an MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) mechanism. With the integrated focusing system, only one lens is moved for focusing. The result is extremely fast and precise AF performance.
