A total of 28 elements in 18 groups include large diameter EDA lenses and 4 Super ED lenses for excellent clarity across the entire Zoom range at a constant aperture of F4.5. Olympus's unique Nano Z-coating reduces ghosting and flare for clear, high-quality images in challenging shooting conditions.

Extend the focal length up to 1400mm* with the MC-14 or 2000mm* with the MC-20 teleconverter while maintaining the high optical performance of the master lens.

Whether super telephoto or tele macro, the ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO covers a wide range of shooting possibilities from 150mm to 500mm (300mm- 1000mm*). Not only can it zoom in close to distant subjects, it can also adjust the focal length to suit your shooting requirements, giving you exactly the setup you have in mind. The minimum focal length of 1.3 meters and a magnification of 0.36x (0.71x*) are ideal for taking pictures of living creatures and plants. The lens also supports focus stacking.
