Details
The new GH3750QR ball joint head replaces the G1376M head. The new materials used are a combination of proven lightweight magnesium and technical polymer Soulid 238, comparable to magnesium in hardness and load capacity. By refining the ball surface with PTFE, this head has an extremely smooth and soft movement. The use of Soulid 238 and lighter internal components has made it possible to further reduce the dead weight of the head while at the same time increasing its load capacity. The panoramic locking function has also been significantly improved.
The innovations at a glance:
Ì technopolymer bushing
Ì new spring locking system
Ì lighter internal components
Ì PTFE treated ball
Ì optimized ball seat
Ì larger inner diameter for improved panoramic locking
Ì ergonomically designed adjustment knobs
Ì protective pouch
Ì camera screw ¼Ê + 3/8Ê
Ì spirit level
Ì quick release system (QR)
Soulid 238: this material is corrosion and oxidation free and has high vibration absorption. In addition, the new material is extremely temperature resistant. Thus, in addition to weight reduction, the new offers unsurpassed adjustment freedom, separate controls for pan and tilt. PTFE Coating The PTFE coating on the ball creates an ultra-smooth surface that significantly reduces friction between the parts being clamped, contributing to silky smooth adjustment. The ball no longer requires any oils or greases and is therefore maintenance-free, which increases longevity and improves handling. SALS Í Spring Assistant Locking System This new system strengthens the clamping while providing smoother movement. On the one hand, the new technology provides extremely high, mechanical pressure on the ball when fully locked. On the other hand, the SALS allows friction adjustment to the weight of the camera. This results in the ball position being changed as smooth as butter.
