This Gitzo tripod is precisely matched to Sonys α7 and α9 camera models. The Traveler α offers the highest level of stability and precision, making excellent image compositions possible. The modern and classy black and silver design ideally matches the aesthetics of the Sony α models. The compact and lightweight travel tripod is made of high-quality carbon and weighs only 1.43 kg.

You can use camera equipment weighing up to 10 kg and extend the tripod to a maximum height of up to 165 cm. The 180° folding mechanism developed by Gitzo ensures that you can fold the legs completely upwards to conveniently carry the tripod, which is then only 43 cm long. You can use lenses with a focal length of up to 135 mm.

If the short center column is used and the legs are spread to the maximum, demanding macro shots can be realized at very low shooting positions. The kit includes a compact professional ball head that can be used universally and offers optimal balance.

You can replace the included Sony α plate with a short Arca-Swiss compatible plate (GS5370D). A locking screw locks the plate and the image setting is perfectly aligned thanks to the leveling bubble.
