The Gitzo GT2545T Series 2 Carbon Fiber Traveler Tripod is the most resilient professional traveler support with 4 leg segments with Gitzo's proprietary 180° leg folding mechanism that allows the tripod legs to fold inward around the center column and tripod head, allowing it to fold down to 44.5 cm. It is recommended for use with lenses from 200 mm to a maximum of 300 mm. When the leg angles are spread and the included short center column is inserted, the tripod can be lowered even further for low-angle or macro photography. This tripod has the largest tube diameters in the Traveler series. The tripod legs are made of Carbon eXact tubing for improved load capacity and rigidity in a slimmer format. The tripod features "Traveler G-Lock" - a travel-sized version of Gitzo's G-Lock locking mechanism specifically designed to ensure security for more compact tripods. Included is the shoulder strap that comes with the tripod for great carrying comfort. The precisely fitted compact rubber feet are easily interchangeable with alternative feet from Gitzo (such as spikes or larger feet). It is the ideal tripod for professional photographers who use extra long lenses or need maximum stability when traveling.

Furthermore, the kit includes the GH1382QD series 1 center ball head. The GH1382QD series 1 mid-sized professional tripod head is perfectly tailored to the Gitzo Mountaineer series 0 and 1. With a dead weight of only 0.5 kg, it reliably holds a payload of 14 kg. With a size of 11.2 cm, it is still compact enough to be placed between the folded tripod legs of the Series 2 Traveler tripods. Despite its slim design, it is richly equipped with accessories, including a friction control knob for precise adjustment that has been integrated into the ball's locking knob. This model features an independent 360° Pan Lock and offers uncompromising ball smoothness thanks to its construction with high quality, extremely durable steel and aluminum components. The included quick-release plate locks into place with a screw knob, and a level bubble helps photographers perfectly align the horizon. The tripod head comes with a short Arca-Swiss type plate (GS5370SD), but is also compatible with all Gitzo D-profile plates and fits most Arca-Swiss plates from other brands.
