The Gitzo GT1545T Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod Series 1 is an extremely compact support with 4 leg segments without tripod head. The tripod features Gitzo's proprietary 180° leg folding mechanism, which allows the tripod legs to fold inwards around the center column and optional ball head to collapse to 42.5 cm. The GT1545T weighs 1.055 kg, extends to a height of 153 cm and carries up to 10 kg of equipment. It is recommended for use with lenses from 135 mm to a maximum of 200 mm. When the included short center column is inserted, the tripod can be extended down to 22 cm for low-angle or macro shots.

The tripod legs are made of Carbon eXact tubes, which stand for improved load capacity and rigidity in a slimmer format and feature "Traveler G-Lock" - a travel-size version of Gitzo's G-Lock locking mechanism, specifically designed to guarantee security for more compact sizes. The precisely adapted compact rubber feet can be easily replaced if necessary. The GT1545T from Gitzo has 1/4″ and 3/8″ attachments on the top for easy attachment of tripod heads and other accessories and a shoulder strap included with the tripod for carrying comfort.
