Leofoto Ranger LS-223C + Ballhead LH-25

This mini tripod can be stowed in any reasonably roomy photo bag (or backpack), and often even in a space-saving, upright "stance". With it, photo tasks can be mastered in a way that puts many a large tripod in said bag. The Leofoto Ranger LS-223C carbon tripod is simply the ideal "always with you" tripod. Passé the motive situations, in which one missed a tripod! Perfectly combined is the cuddly power dwarf with the equally ultra-compact Leofoto LH-25 ball head. The load capacity of this congenial duo is no less than 6 kg! The weight of both parts adds up to just 720 grams. And the complete set of carbon tripod, ball head, stainless steel spikes and multi-tool weighs only a little more. Everything comes together in a practical carrying bag.

For all its lightness and stability (already described above), the tripod also shines with its small dimensions: 270 mm pack size and 380 mm maximum working height (both with ball head). With the center column screwed on, these figures increase accordingly. It is hardly surprising that the Ranger LS-223C can also perform an almost perfect "balancing act". Then the impressively low working height of 105 mm (without ball head and center column) offers ideal conditions for macro shots of the ground life below. The legs consist of three segments with diameters of 22, 19 and 16 mm.

Leofoto LH-25 ball head - very small, but powerful and precise.

Precisely machined from CNC-machined, black anodized aircraft aluminum, this small ball head is included in the set. Its power does not show this "flyweight" (only 178 grams) at first glance. But the Leofoto LH-25 ball head can carry a very respectable 6 kg! The low height of only 69 mm keeps the center of gravity down. This also reduces unwanted vibrations. With tripod thread 3/8" and a large wing nut, the latter for locking the ball (diameter 25 mm) in the desired position. Velvety smooth adjustment and smooth-running 360° panorama function. Precise adjustment is facilitated by the scale on the tripod plate. Vertical tilt of the ball is possible up to 90°. Attaching and removing cameras is a snap with the built-in quick-release coupling including the PU-25 QR camera plate of the Arca-Swiss type.
