Leofoto Ranger LS-254C + Ballhead LH-30
Lightweight, compact and also extremely robust and strong: all attributes that are also inherent in the Leofoto Ranger LS-254C carbon tripod. The packing size is a short 520 mm. When the leg segments are fully extended, a maximum working height of 1,260 mm is reached, with Leofoto LH-30 ball head. Like the LH-30 ball head, the Ranger LS-254C can handle a full 8 kg payload. With its own weight of only 932 g (carbon tripod) and 308 g (ball head), the duo contributes to the fact that the outdoor equipment does not become too heavy.
Minimized to the max, so to speak, is what all carbon tripods in the Ranger series are. For this reason, they do not have a built-in center column. In most cases, this proves to be optimal for on the go. If you want to go higher and accept a little more weight and space, simply put the separately included center column in your photo luggage. If it is screwed on, the working height of the Leofoto Ranger LS-254C carbon tripod by a maximum of 315 mm, i.e. up to a comfortable 1,575 mm. The leg spreader, on the other hand, makes it possible to shoot at a working height of just 140 mm above the ground - a particularly ideal option for macro photographers. Each tripod leg consists of four smoothly gliding segments; they have diameters of 25, 22, 19 and 16 mm.
Leofoto LH-30 ball head - small and powerful at the same time.
Precision CNC machined from black anodized aircraft aluminum, with built-in bubble level. Horizontal rotation of 360° and vertical tilt up to 90° of the ball (30 mm diameter) are controlled and held by the powerful wing nut. With a net weight of only 308 g, the Leofoto LH-30 ball head can bear a load of 15 kg. 80 mm height means that the center of gravity is low, and this also reduces adverse vibrations. With 3/8" tripod thread and scale on the tripod plate, which makes precise adjustment easier. Also making work easier is the built-in quick-release coupling; it comes with an Arca-Swiss type BPL-50 QR camera plate included.
