It allows not only extension in the vertical, but also shifting in the horizontal, offering you amazing possibilities when shooting. This makes the tripod extremely versatile and suitable for a variety of different photography applications. The mechanism for flipping the center column to horizontal is integrated into the tripod shoulder and can be quickly and easily extended when needed. Flipping the center column from vertical to horizontal is possible without the hassle of unscrewing the tripod. Even the camera can remain attached to the tripod.
The tripod is extremely compact thanks to its 4 leg extensions: the space-saving mechanism for the horizontal center column and the 4 leg extensions have made it possible to reduce the tripod's packing size by 16 cm compared to previous models of the 190 - a boon for all traveling photographers. The individual tripod legs can be extended extremely quickly with the quick leg locks, individually adjusted and securely fixed. Thanks to the special design of the quick leg locks, you can operate the individual locks comfortably and safely with one hand. From the closed state, the extensions of each tripod leg can be released with just a single movement. The special design of the quick-release locks enables even more powerful fixation of each leg extension. The tripod is therefore more stable and rigid than tripods with conventional leg locks. With the intuitive and ergonomic adjustment of the leg angle, each leg can be quickly and easily fixed in one of the preset positions.
