Manfrotto Nitrotech 608 Aluminum Video Tripod
The video system includes the Nitrotech 608 fluid video head and the 645 Fast Twin aluminum tripod from Manfrotto.
The Nitrotech 608 fluid video head features state-of-the-art technology in the form of a nitrogen-filled piston mechanism that provides precise control of up to 8 kg of camera equipment as part of a continuous weight-balancing system. The infinitely adjustable fluid damping feature provides smooth, jerk-free movement during both pan and tilt. A 3/8-inch EasyLink mount with anti-rotation function can also be used to attach an external monitor or other accessories. The side locking mechanism of the skid plate mount quickly and easily secures the camera. The flat mounting base with standard 3/8-inch thread makes the Nitrotech 608 suitable as a head for a variety of platforms (tripod, slider, rack or crane).
The 645 FTT Fast Twin Alu tripod features double tubular legs and FAST Lever Lock for absolutely robust stability. The tripod is equipped with a 2-in-1 half-shell made of a standard 100 mm half-shell with a 75 mm adapter to allow the use of a wider range of video heads. It also has a lockable center tiller. However, the three preselectable leg angles make the tiller purely a matter of taste.
This series was primarily designed for the shortest possible setup and maintenance times to simplify videography. With the synchronous mechanism for the top and bottom locks, the entire leg can be adjusted with just one lock, setting up the tripod in record time. The new tripod is extremely versatile as it is suitable for a wide range of heads and ensures maximum stability with extremely low weight.
It is also compatible with the 2-in-1 floor and center spreader with telescopic arms (offered as an optional accessory) and features a three-leg angle pre-selection mechanism for easy set-up. The feet provide a firm grip with their rubber cap-covered tips and are suitable for a wide variety of shooting locations.
