In addition to its unsurpassed stability, the 475B PRO aluminum crank tripod has other outstanding features:

The revolutionary center strut system can be used symmetrically or asymmetrically. The tripod can be positioned very quickly with a symmetrical alignment of the center strut system, as the legs have an identical angle of attack. However, the tripod can also be used asymmetrically and the angle of each individual leg can be freely adjusted - ideal for uneven terrain.

To avoid delays when levelling the tripod, the telescopic central struts have been equipped with two locking positions, with which the same angle of attack can be set for all three tripod legs.

Anti-rotation leg segment

ART (Anti Rotation Tubing) anti-rotation protection and leg cuffs make it easier and quicker to open, position and close the (monopod) tripod. The ART system Manfrotto uses different anti-rotation systems - on Magfiber and Digi tripods, the elliptical or triangular tubes prevent twisting, while on tripods with round tubes, small bulges along the entire length of the tube ensure perfect alignment of the segments.

Quick-release fasteners

Quick-release fasteners make opening, positioning and closing quick and easy. The tension of the locking mechanism is adjustable. All parts are easy to maintain or replace.

Independent leg adjustment angles

Each leg can be fixed at a different angle for more flexible and versatile positioning and to keep the camera equipment well above the tripod's center of gravity.

Center brace system

The built-in center brace system makes the tripod even more torsion-resistant and also prevents the tripod legs from unintentionally spreading out due to impact. The advantage of the center brace system compared to a ground spreader or tripod trolley is that it does not come into contact with mud and dirt and is better suited for use on uneven terrain.

Movable connecting ring

Lockable, movable connecting ring between the center struts and center column, which can be used to fix the tripod legs at different angles to increase stability or reduce the footprint.

Retractable handle

The retractable handle prevents damage during transportation.

Crank center column

The central crank column enables safe and precise height adjustment even with heavy loads.
