The NITROTECH 612 fluid video head from Manfrotto has an innovative nitrogen-filled piston mechanism for infinitely variable weight compensation. The NITROTECH 612 guarantees precise control of cameras and accessories weighing between 4 and 12 kg. The fluid damping enables extremely smooth movements when panning and tilting. The camera can be easily, safely and quickly attached to the 180 mm sliding plate and then secured to the head with a side lock.

External screens and accessories can be securely attached to the head with the 3/8" Easy-Link attachment with anti-rotation mechanism. The NITROTECH 612 has a flat mounting base with a standard 3/8" thread that is suitable for a variety of platforms (tripod, slider, stand or crane). The 645 FTT Fast Twin Carbon tripod has double tube legs and the FAST Lever Lock for absolutely robust stability. The tripod is equipped with a 2-in-1 half-shell from a standard 100 mm half-shell, which is compatible with a 75 mm adapter (available as an accessory) to allow the use of a wider range of video heads. It also has a lockable center spreader. However, the three pre-selectable leg angles make the spider purely a matter of taste.
