Novoflex Classic Ball 5 II

After the CB3 II, the Classic Ball 5 II is now the second ball tilt from Novoflex that can be used rotated by 180°. Thus, an exact, horizontal leveling can be done via the ball, with the help of the bubble level integrated in the base. Version II is equipped with a corresponding 360° scaling. Now you have the ideal entry into panorama photography.

Classic Ball 5 II additionally offers:

• three 90° portrait openings for the ball neck
• reproducible and locked friction presetting at any time thanks to the AFC system (advanced friction control)
• no confusing search for friction, locking and panorama knobs
• Absolutely no change in position of the ball during locking, due to the completely up-to-date internal design.

Already at first sight the Classic Ball 5 II convinces with extremely precise and stable workmanship in discreet matt titanium look.
The full metal construction as well as the use of most modern polymer materials correspond to the well-known Novoflex product philosophy.

Realized for the first time in a ball head - are three 90° openings for the ball neck, which decisively increase the portrait adjustment possibilities of the head.
The decisive factor is that the three 90° portrait openings do not require any compromise to the stability of the Classic Ball.

Central to the development of the Classic Ball was the requirement of many professional photographers for a precisely metered and repeatable
friction adjustment (pre-braking) of the ball.
This is achieved Novoflex through the use of the innovative AFC system, the detented friction adjustment on the blue adjustment ring in the center of the ball head. This allows the photographer to set the correct pre-braking of the ball even before placing his camera-lens unit on the ball.
The previously necessary "groping and trying" is no longer necessary, and handling even extremely heavy telephoto lenses becomes child's play.

On the Classic Ball, the ball is clamped - in contrast to other ball heads of this type - without any change in position during locking. This advantage is particularly appreciated by macro and telephoto photographers who require millimeter-precise adjustment of the image section.

A built-in 360° panorama rotation and the two camera winders 1/4" and 3/8" are a matter of course on the Classic Ball.
All adjustment elements of the Classic Ball have been optimized for operation under difficult conditions. Even in cold weather, the photographer can easily adjust and control all
functions even when wearing gloves.
The permanently grease-free bearing of the ball also ensures reliable use in environments with fine sand or salt water.

The daily experience and handling requirements of professional photographers have been incorporated into the design of the Classic Ball.
In terms of stability and vibration behavior of the ball head, Novoflex has not made the slightest compromise.
