The KOPF² presents itself as an outstanding, compact and at the same time modular geared head that combines maximum precision with impressive versatility. Designed for demanding areas of photography such as architectural, studio, macro, repro and astrophotography, this innovative panhead allows independent adjustments in both axes (basic version)

With the ability to tilt precisely up and down as well as sideways, the KOPF² offers unparalleled flexibility. Rough movements around the transverse and longitudinal axes (tilting and tilting) can be conveniently controlled using the side clamping levers, while finer adjustments can be made using the adjustment screw. The self-locking fine drive prevents heavy camera constructions from falling or dropping when the side clamping lever for coarse adjustment is closed.

By increasing the diameter of the fine adjustment screw using the optionally available CAST-FINE-K fine adjustment handle, particularly small, precise angular movements can be achieved

The joints of the longitudinal and transverse axes are equipped with adjustable and zeroable angle scales to ensure reproducible angular positions. With the aid of the integrated spirit levels, these angles can be precisely adjusted to 0° in order to approach them later or set defined angular distances.

The device mounting brackets at the top and bottom are equipped with an ARCA-UniQ/C-compatible dovetail profile, a 3/8" hole with 1/4" adapter, a 1/4" mounting screw, as well as holes for video pins for torsion-proof mounting and cut-outs for safety pins. The ARCA UniQ/C-compatible dovetail profile also allows the panhead to be inserted directly into a corresponding quick-release coupling or a panorama turntable with integrated coupling. When using a quick coupling from the NOVOFLEX Q system, the cut-outs for safety pins ensure that the panhead does not slip out unintentionally, even when the coupling's clamping screw is half open. In addition, inserted video pins prevent the accessories, which are mounted on the device mounting brackets with a 1/4" screw, from twisting.

KOPF² can be

configured for use by left and right-handed

users.

KOPF² is supplied here in the basic version without the upper quick-release coupling and lower panorama swivel. Both components can be supplemented with existing equipment or from the NOVOFLEX range
