Macro lenses usually produce a very shallow depth of field, which means it can be difficult to get the entire subject in focus.

The

SIRUI MS18 Macro Focus Slide is a precision tool that enables so-called focus stacking. This allows multiple shots to be taken with different levels of focus, which are then stitched together afterwards to create a completely sharp photo.

The macro rail weighs only 440g and can support camera and lens combinations of up to 10kg.

The

rail travel is 170mm and one crank rotation produces a movement of only 1.25mm. Thus, fine adjustments down to 0.01mm are possible. The

head can be rotated 360 degrees and locked in 90 degree increments.

When the macro rail is to be used on a table, it stands securely on the four rubberized feet

. The

feet can also be removed if necessary.

The

interchangeable plate is rubberized and has two sliding stoppers to prevent the camera from twisting
