The SIRUI leveling hemisphere is used for horizontal alignment of the mounted head. The annoying alignment by means of the tripod legs is thus omitted.

Especially for panoramas and when using 3D tripod heads, the head support must be level. Video cameras used with a video head on the tripods should also be mounted on a level head mounting plate for panning shots. The 14cm long handle of the SIRUI leveling hemisphere serves ideally as a plumb bob when leveling. For exact adjustment, the hemisphere can be tilted +/- 10° on all sides.
