This special ball head is always recommended where image composition demands the highest accuracy. It is an ideal tool for architecture, landscape, panorama and subject photography. Plus/minus 10° adjustment in each of two axes and the 720° double panorama (360° panorama plate + 360° ball head base) leave hardly anything to be desired when it comes to making the finest corrections to settings. Laser-engraved all-round scales support the precise panning of the base and panorama plate.

Sophisticated details for perfect camera positioning

The special feature of the above-mentioned correction of plus/minus 10°, which is possible in two directions, is that it can be made after the ball head has been fixed and the camera has already been positioned

This makes even more precise tuning of the image composition possible. The hand-friendly size of the easy-grip main locking knob promotes its quick operation and reliable locking. The low profile keeps the center of gravity low, reducing vibration to a minimum. The precision CNC-molded ball moves silkily and smoothly. Two notches are used to angle the ball by up to 90° - and they facilitate fast switching between landscape and portrait format. Last but not least, a spirit level (circular bubble) supports the precise alignment of the camera. For secure mounting on a tripod, the ball head base has a 3/8" thread made of sturdy brass. The 40 mm diameter ball is supplied with quick release plate Leofoto NP-60. Together with it, the entire LH-40GR panoramic gear ball head weighs 740 g, with a load capacity of 20 kg.
