The SmallRig 3982 Cage for Nikon Z 8 with MB-N12 battery grip is used to protect the camera and attach accessories. A 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom secures the camera, an M2.5 screw on both sides, with rubber bumpers to prevent scratches.
The buttons, card slots, battery cover and flip screen remain freely accessible.
There are mounting points for various accessories, 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threads and ARRI 3/8"-16 mounting holes support top handle 2165 & 1638, side handle 2093 & 2425, monitor mount 2903 & 2904 and Magic Arm 3875; two cold shoe mounts fit a microphone and LED video light
.The lower Arca-Swiss quick-release plate also supports DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals for quick switching between handheld, gimbal and tripod
