SmallRig 4975 Black Mamba Cage f. Canon EOS R5 II
The SmallRig "Black Mamba" cage for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II 4975 has been carefully crafted to provide comprehensive protection and a variety of expansion interfaces for your camera. The cage features a secure locking mechanism with a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two side positioning blocks as well as integrated silicone pads to prevent scratches on your camera. This cage retains the iconic "Black Mamba" style and allows full access to all camera buttons and interfaces.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching accessories such as side grips (ID 2093).such as side handles (ID 2093, 4346), Magic Arms (ID 3874, 3875), monitor mounts (ID 2904B), Manfrotto base plates (ID 1280, 2458), L-shaped mounting plate kits (ID MD4360) and more. The top section has ARRI positioning holes for expansion with accessories such as top handles (ID 3765), top quick release handles (ID 4483) and monitor mounts (ID 2903B). It also has a hot shoe mount for microphones and lighting accessories.
The cage features normal strap slots compatible with wrist straps (ID 3848, 2456), an innovative hang-down strap slot for additional lens protection and a QD interface compatible with QD quick release shoulder straps (ID 4118).
The Arca-Swiss quick-release base plate allows direct mounting on Arca tripods (ID 4060, 4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, enabling a quick change between stabilizer, handheld and tripod setup. In addition, the cage has a magnetic double-headed key on the underside for easy assembly and disassembly.
The cage comes with a durable, scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H and an impact resistance test rating of IK03.
Precautions:
- Remove the side positioning blocks on both sides of the cage before installation.
- The tempered glass screen protector is intentionally designed slightly smaller than the screen edges to prevent dust from entering through larger gaps. This is a normal design feature.
