Pyro S is a ground-breaking addition to the Hollyland Pyro range that redefines wireless video transmission. Pyro S supports HDMI and SDI inputs and outputs and can transmit to up to four receivers simultaneously, with a range of up to 400m and a minimum latency of just 50ms. The Pyro S utilizes advanced Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology to ensure reliable transmission and has selectable modes for your real-world recording needs. The Pyro S's magnesium alloy housing is lighter and more durable than conventional models, making it easier to transport and handle. It is ideal for monitoring multiple users in dynamic recording scenarios, such as film production, live events and ENG/EFP applications.

The Pyro S's Wifi broadcast technology allows one transmitter to connect to four receivers with stable signals, providing more flexibility when additional monitoring needs arise on set

With its proprietary 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band technology, the Pyro S has a stable transmission range of up to 400 m (1,300 feet). Thanks to improved chips and optimized algorithms for video encoding and decoding, a minimum transmission latency of 50 ms is achieved.

Double gain: From delay to long-distance stability
Compared to conventional video transmission systems, in which the range is increased at the expense of image quality and latency, thelatency, the Pyro S is characterized by a greater transmission distance while maintaining video quality and minimizing latency.

You can select these two modes depending on your application requirements:

  • Smooth Mode: In this mode, the bit rate is dynamically adjusted to achieve the lowest latency of 50 ms for transmission over very long distances.
  • HD Mode: Optimal for excellent image quality. HD mode guarantees a clear picture with a stable bit rate of 8-12 Mbps even at a range of 400 m (1,300 ft).

*The transmission range is the LOS (line-of-sight) range based on interference-free laboratory measurements.
*When broadcast mode is enabled, the LOS range is up to 200 m (650 ft)

Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH)
With our proprietary Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology, the Pyro S operates in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual bands and features intelligent Auto Frequency Hopping so that it can automatically select the clearest channel. This feature guarantees reliable and uninterrupted wireless video transmission.

Pyro S offers a dual-band transmission solution that solves common problems such as signal interference, low transmission efficiency and frequency congestion. The omnidirectional high-gain antennas also ensure stable signals in all directions. This ensures better signal transmission performance and efficiency. With Pyro S, you no longer have to worry about video dropouts.
Automatic frequency hopping
The Pyro S is equipped with Auto Frequency Hopping technology, which constantly checks and monitors signal strength and interference in different frequency ranges to find the best wireless channel, resulting in a more reliable connection.

Pyro S is the perfect solution for professional recording and smaller commercial projects. The transmitter has an HDMI input and an SDI input, while the receiver offers an SDI output and an HDMI output.
