Optimized with the latest technology in lens design, the 16-28mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a high-performance lens that delivers outstanding image quality despite compact dimensions. Two large aspheres and five optimally used FLD lenses, whose material has the properties of fluorite glass, keep weight and dimensions low. Likewise, the high-quality lenses provide effective correction of the chromatic aberration and lateral chromatic aberration that often affect the image quality of other ultra-wide-angle designs.

the lens takes advantage of the digital correction capabilities of modern cameras to deliver impressive image quality with small dimensions.
