Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens
Versatile, compact standard lens
Gaussian optics and two lenses made of highly refractive glass ensure razor-sharp, clear images in practically all areas of photography, even at full aperture of f/1.4. The lens is ideal for landscape and travel photography, as well as portraits and reportage.
Ultrasonic focusing
An ultrasonic motor ensures very fast and extremely quiet focusing. Thanks to the excellent holding torque, inaccuracies are avoided. Manual focusing is also possible at any time without switching. This means that the focus can be adjusted without having to switch off the AF function.
Attractive background blur
The practically circular aperture gives the blurred area a softer, more uniform appearance. The targeted use of background blur emphasizes the subject in the foreground.
Super Spectra coating
The Super Spectra coating ensures excellent color balance and enhanced contrast. It also minimizes flare and stray light - a common problem caused by light reflecting off the camera's sensor.
