RØDE's top of the range short shotgun microphone in a black finish, which is preferred for film and television recording due to its low-reflection coating. The NTG3-B uses a 1/2" true condenser capsule and has increased directivity thanks to its interference principle. The NTG3 delivers the highest transmission quality with a full and warm sound. Shotgun microphones are required when positioning close to the sound source is impossible or undesirable - e.g. in broadcast, stage, film sound and video applications. . Due to the HF technology used, the NTG3-B is extremely insensitive to moisture and condensation and can also be used in extreme climatic conditions. Other features include high sensitivity (31 mV), very low self-noise (13 dBA) and excellent structure-borne noise suppression. The unobtrusive matt black and robust microphone housing is made of solid brass and therefore offers excellent shielding against HF interference.
