Rode VideoMic GO II

Ultra-light, compact and versatile condenser directional microphone. The VideoMic GO II can be operated on cameras and sound fishing rods, on Mac and PC as well as on smartphones and iPhones. Operation is as simple as can be: no battery, no controls, pure plug & play. With its supercardioid polar pattern, the VideoMic GO II focuses on signals from the front at a narrow angle (approx. 45°); lateral sound sources are hardly taken into account.

The sound quality is first-class - the VideoMic GO II delivers crystal-clear, completely colorless sound and has minimal self-noise at 15 dBA. The red Rycote swing mount has a flash foot for camera mounting and a 3/8" thread to also mount the mic to a tripod or boom. Audio connection to the camera is via the included 3.5mm TRS cable, and a foam windscreen is also included.

24-bit/48 kHz audio interface is built into the VideoMic GO II. You can digitally connect the microphone to your Mac, PC, smartphone or iPhone via the USB-C jack on the side and a suitable cable (SC15, SC16, SC18). The 3.5 mm jack on the microphone serves as a stereo headphone output in this case. Like the NT-USB Mini, Wireless GO II and VideoMic NTG, the VideoMic GO II is also compatible with the free apps Rode Connect, Rode Central and Rode Reporter. Through Rode Connect, you can use the VideoMic GO II's built-in DSP (compressor, noise gate, Aphex Exciter, and Aphex Big Bottom).
