Perfectly integrating with Ronin Series products and DJI Master Wheels, DJI Transmission offers the industry revolutionary transmission that provides far vision beyond boundaries.

Revolutionary Transmission

Long-Range HD Live Feed

DJI Transmission integrates O3 Pro video transmission technology, which offers an incredible 6km range.[1] It also supports transmission at 1080p/60fps video at a maximum bit rate of 50 Mbps, as well as live audio at 16-bit and 48 kHz, giving film crews on large sets excellent visual and audio recording control.

Extremely Low Latency

The transmitter and receiver use the same chip as the Ronin 4D, with each connection explicitly optimized to provide extremely low latency when connecting to cinema cameras like the ALEXA Mini LF.

Seamless Automatic Frequency Switching

O3 Pro adds DFS bands in addition to the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands, providing up to 23 channels of interference-free transmission for professional film crews. In addition, DJI Transmission supports automatic frequency switching, scanning the electromagnetic environment for the best radio channel.

With a built-in radio scanner, you can even manually select the best channel to avoid interference between devices

One transmitter with multiple receivers

The very bright radio monitor supports one transmitter with multiple receivers for video and audio feeds in two transmission modes. In control mode, DJI Transmission delivers optimal transmission performance. Image control can be performed by two receivers simultaneously, while Ronin 2, RS 3 Pro and camera focus can all be controlled remotely.

For film crews working with multiple members and teams, such as lighting and props, Transmission mode can be enabled in addition to Control mode to allow an unlimited number of receivers (transmission performance is different from Control mode). This makes shooting more efficient and improves communication.

Encrypted transmission

DJI Transmission supports secure connections and AES 256-bit encryption to protect against unauthorized access. Together with DJI's proprietary chip and transmission protocol, DJI Transmission is able to provide the highest level of security for your footage.

Compared to traditional solutions, DJI Transmission integrates a very bright monitor with a receiver, providing optimal mobility and efficient setup so you can get started quickly in any environment.

The wireless monitor uses the same chip that is used in the Ronin 4D. As a result, it offers many features for integrated and efficient reception, control and recording, in addition to image control.

Wide Color Spectrum Touchscreen

The very bright wireless monitor features a 7″ wide color spectrum touchscreen with brightness up to 1,500 nits. It comes with a tempered glass display protector and a professional monitor bezel to deliver rich, lifelike colors even in strong light. The screen has a resolution of 1920×1200 and displays details such as shooting parameters via a clearly structured user interface for easy operation and image control.

Useful Functions

The wireless monitor provides useful functions such as Safety Zone, Subframe, Zebra Stripe, False Color, Peaking and Waveform for precise composition, exposure and focusing.

Independent recording and playback

The wireless monitor also features a microSD card slot and allows recording and playback of a live H.264 feed at 1080p/60fps, as well as simultaneous access to video time codes[3], so video samples can be easily edited right on set. When multiple wireless monitors are used together, each monitor can even record or playback footage independently without affecting other monitors.

Integrated into the DJI ecosystem - Wide-ranging control options

Integrated motion control unit

The very bright wireless monitor has an integrated gyroscope, allowing it to be used as a motion control unit for Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro without additional accessories. This allows for more complex camera movements, for example, from a moving vehicle or with a boom.

Compatible with Ronin 4D Hand Grips

The very bright wireless monitor comes with a case that allows extensions to be attached and protects the monitor. When used with the Ronin 4D Handgrips[2], the control stick can control a Ronin 2 or an RS 3 Pro, and the focus wheel can be used to adjust focus and camera parameters such as aperture, shutter and ISO, while the record button controls the start/stop of video recording.[4] As a result, the RS 3 Pro offers a similar user experience to the Ronin 4D.

Compatible with DJI Master Wheels and DJI Force Pro

When used with the DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro[5], the wireless monitor enables advanced gimbal control when used with Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro. In doing so, the original unit transmits control signals directly via DJI Transmission rather than using radio signals from DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro. This increases transmission performance by three times and improves signal range, stability and noise immunity.

Mirrored Control Mode

When the RS 3 Pro is mounted on booms, cable cams and vehicles, you can use mirrored control mode[6] to remotely control the menu of mirrorless Sony cameras from anywhere on the set.

Direct power from gimbal

DJI Transmission can be connected to the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro for a customized shooting solution. The video transmitter can be mounted directly to the accessory shoe on the bottom of the gimbal and powered directly by it without an additional battery.

Other power solutions

The video transmitter and the very bright wireless monitor are all compatible with the DJI WB37 battery. You can also use the included NP-F battery adapter for rechargeable batteries. Third party V-mount battery adapters can also be used to use the video transmitter and radio monitor with V-mount batteries. Spring contact pins are located on the front and back of the video transmitter to mount the special V-mount battery adapter to a camera for integrated power supply to the camera and video transmitter.
For continuous power, a P-TAP to DC-IN power cable can be used to connect to an external power source.
