Mixer, recorder and dual audio interface in one device - the perfect solution for podcasters and content creators. The 31 cm wide RØDECaster Pro II White offers state-of-the-art technology with ultra-low-noise microphone preamps and studio effects with the simplest and most intuitive operation. A 5.5" HD touchscreen, logically arranged controls and professional channel presets with Quick Editor ensure a fast workflow. If you want, you can also delve deep into the signal processing parameters. Proven mixer setups can be saved with all settings as a "show" and restored at the touch of a button if required.

Mixing console

The RØDECaster Pro II White has nine freely assignable input channels, six of which have long 100 mm faders as well as select, mute and solo buttons. The remaining three input channels are virtual and are operated via touchscreen and encoder. The following connections and signal sources can be assigned to the channels: the rear Neutrik combo sockets (XLR/jack), the front headset socket (3.5 mm TRRS), RØDE Wireless, Bluetooth®, USB1, USB2 and SMART Pad Audio. The four combo sockets can be used to connect (XLR) or electric guitars or line sources (jack). The ultra-low-noise high-gain preamps (up to 76 dB preamplification) deliver a crystal-clear audio signal - even with insensitive, dynamic speaker microphones. The required 48 V phantom power can be switched on for condenser microphones. If required, the mix-minus and ducking function can be activated, which is helpful when integrating external guests

Wireless

Thanks to wideband Bluetooth®, music and speech can be received in first-class sound quality and integrated into the podcast, and vice versa, the signal can be output via an external Bluetooth speaker. There is also a built-in wireless receiver for Wireless ME, Wireless GO II, Wireless PRO transmitter and Interview PRO. This means you can transmit directly from these to the RØDECaster Pro II White. The RØDECaster Pro II White also has WLAN on board, so firmware updates can be carried out wirelessly.

Recorder

If

you insert an optional microSD card into the rear slot, the RØDECaster Pro II White can be used as a standalone recorder. Alternatively, you can connect a suitable (sufficiently fast) USB-C storage device. To start recording, simply press the red REC button at the top left of the display. Recording can be done in stereo or multi-track.

If

you prefer, you can also use the RØDECaster Pro II White as an audio interface and record to your computer.

SMART Pads

The 8 programmable SMART pads are used to start or record audio files and to trigger MIDI commands, voice FX, mixer actions and other functions. Two bank change buttons provide access to 7 additional banks for a total of 64 actions. The SMART Pads can be assigned your own audio files using the free "RØDE Central" software, and the RØDECaster Pro II White provides 4 GB of internal memory for this purpose. You can also "record" audio (the sum signal) directly onto the pads.

Signal processing and effects

All input signals (analog and digital) can still be processed extensively and can be refined separately with high-pass filter, de-esser, noise gate, compressor, 3-band EQ, Aphex Exciter and Aphex Big Bottom and arranged in the stereo panorama (Pan L/R). Hardware and power supply

To enable the RØDECaster Pro II White to be attached to stands or brackets, a 3/8" thread and four Vesa mounting points are embedded in the base. Power is supplied via the included external USB-C power supply, which can be easily replaced by an optional 30 watt USB-C PD power bank for mobile use of the device
